Financial director of the PJ removed

Álvaro Pires, the financial director of the Judicial Police, has been removed from his position as his service commission was not renewed. The decision was made by the national director of the PJ, Carlos Cabreiro, following the end of service commissions for several directors. Pires had previously suggested that a seized trailer from Operation Pacoba be kept by Construbarcelos. He expressed that he was informed of the decision but not given specific reasons, only that the renewal was deemed inappropriate.
