He demanded 72 million PLN in compensation. The court decided on the case of Ryszard Linard-Bogucki
The case against Linard-Bogucki, who was wrongfully imprisoned in the 1990s and later acquitted, involved claims for damages totaling over 72 million PLN. He sought compensation for lost property and suffering due to his arrest. The State Treasury's representatives argued for a significantly lower amount, while the prosecutor also opposed the claim. Linard-Bogucki, a former businessman, was previously linked to serious criminal activities, including the murder of Andrzej Kolikowski, known as 'Pershing', for which he was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He was released earlier this year. 'Pershing' was reputedly a leader of a criminal gang and had survived multiple assassination attempts before his murder in 1999.
