German police arrest suspected mastermind behind Starlink arson in Poland

A man has been arrested in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, suspected of preparing a terrorist act. He allegedly sent two compatriots to Poland to set fire to a Starlink satellite internet station. The suspect came to the attention of German police following the arrests of the two men on October 12 in Nürtingen, requested by Polish authorities. During the arrest, eight mobile phones and ammunition were seized. No information is available regarding the suspect's motive or contacts. Ukraine relies heavily on the Starlink network for military communication against Russia, and the Polish government views the incident as Russian sabotage. Similar arson attempts occurred at Starlink stations in Lithuania and Bulgaria in October, with two Germans arrested in Germany for the Bulgaria incident.
