Two members of the RPP are leaving. The Senate is preparing to vote
The Senate has published motions to dismiss Przemysław Litwiniuk and Ludwik Kotecki from the Monetary Policy Council due to their resignations. The committee will review these motions tomorrow. Their resignations are necessary as the law prohibits holding multiple positions within the National Bank of Poland. The Senate session is ongoing from November 4-6, and new members must be appointed within three months. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has also submitted a counter-signature for the appointment of four new members to the NBP board, including current and former members of the RPP. The Senate appoints and dismisses RPP members by a majority vote.
