Several hospitals have reported an increase in unauthorized audio and video recordings made by patients and their relatives, according to the National Hospital Directorate. These recordings occur in waiting rooms, clinics, and even during examinations. The phenomenon is particularly common in emergency departments but is also noted in inpatient care.
