The Government requires communities to inform it of every payment they make regarding housing starting tomorrow
From Saturday, autonomous communities in Spain must report all housing-related payments and grants to the government. This requirement is part of the State Housing Plan 2026-2030, as outlined by the Ministry of Housing. Two mandatory reporting methods are established: immediate notification of significant changes and monthly comprehensive reports. Officials must certify that public housing will remain protected indefinitely and ensure transparent allocation processes. Communities will also submit quarterly progress reports and an annual evaluation, which includes detailed audits. The ministry aims for automated data exchange, with alternative tools allowed until June 2027 for technical issues. A support center will assist with integration and technical problems.
