For the first time, a foreigner can step onto the mysterious Chinese space station
For the first time in history, a foreign astronaut will visit China's Tiangong space station as part of the Shenzhou-24 mission. A Pakistani astronaut will join the three-member crew, although their stay will be brief, returning to Earth shortly after. Two other crew members will remain longer to take over from the Shenzhou-23 team. The Pakistani astronaut is expected to spend about a year in space. The Shenzhou-24 mission is anticipated to launch in November, with the exact date yet to be confirmed. The identities of the crew members are not public, but reports suggest they include Muhammad Zisan Ali and Hurram Daud, who have been training in China for months. China's space program has rapidly advanced, aiming to send humans to the Moon by 2030 and establish a research base by 2035.
