Retired priest accused of molesting a minor. He faces prison time

The District Prosecutor's Office in Radzyń Podlaski has charged a retired priest with sexual offenses against a minor. The incidents allegedly occurred between 2007 and 2009 while Sławomir M. was the parish priest. The victim disclosed her experiences years later, leading to a formal complaint in 2025. Psychiatric evaluations found no mental illness or sexual preference disorders in the accused, but suggested possible hebefilic behaviors. The 70-year-old denies the charges and faces up to 12 years in prison. The case will be heard by the District Court in Radzyń Podlaski.
