EN18 reopened after accident with 4 firefighters injured

Traffic has resumed conditionally on the EN18 near Évora after a fire-fighting vehicle accident injured four firefighters. The incident occurred at 11:49 AM, leading to road closures until 1:47 PM. The injured, aged between 30 and 50, were responding to a false alarm fire and were transported to the Hospital do Espírito Santo. Emergency services included firefighters from Évora, Arraiolos, and Viana do Alentejo, along with police and medical teams.
