Ágoston Endrey-Nagy won the main prize of the first short story competition of Karakter

Endrey-Nagy Ágoston won the main prize of the Karakter's first short story competition with his piece "Akár maradhatsz is." The audience award went to Horváth Tamás for "Hervadó virágok," while Száraz Eszter received the Telekom Hello Szülő Special Prize. The competition attracted 1510 submissions, and the winners were announced at the Karakter Contemporary Mini Festival in Budapest. The jury praised Endrey-Nagy's work for its emotional depth and concise storytelling, highlighting themes of loss and belonging. Both the main prize and audience award winners received a cash prize of 300,000 HUF each.
