Codename: János Kádár
An informant from Ipolytarnóc was recruited in 1954 under the codename Kádár János, named after the prominent Hungarian politician. At the time of recruitment, Kádár was imprisoned but was released later that year. By 1955, he had risen to a significant political position. The informant later changed his codename to Kinizsi and continued until 1962 when he was expelled from the network due to exposure. This case highlights the intertwining of personal and political histories in Hungary's state security system.
