Headhunters captured the man who had been hiding for more than two years, sentenced to seven years in prison

On November 3, a 43-year-old man, Cs. Henrik, was arrested in Vecsés after evading authorities for over two years. He was sentenced to seven years in prison for kidnapping and fraud but failed to report to prison. He was listed among Hungary's 50 most wanted criminals in July. Initially suspected of fleeing abroad, police later confirmed he was still in Hungary. In 2019, he and accomplices kidnapped a man over a debt, and in 2018, he participated in a scam posing as a police officer to defraud an elderly woman. Upon arrest, he attempted to use false identification but was unsuccessful. He was taken directly to a correctional facility to serve his sentence without the possibility of early release.
