King Felipe VI welcomed four Latin American presidents at the Royal Palace in Madrid for the XXX Ibero-American Summit. The Chilean president, José Antonio Kast, emphasized the deep friendship between Chile and Spain. Honduran president Nasry Asfura, whose country will host the summit in 2028, also met with the king. Guatemalan president Bernardo Arevalo and Costa Rican president Laura Fernandez were received as well, with Arevalo highlighting the commitment to strengthen cooperation between Guatemala and Spain.
