Following the Brazilian presidential elections, videos of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro crying alongside Governor Tarcísio de Freitas circulated online, allegedly after losing to Lula da Silva. However, these claims are misleading. The video, while authentic, was recorded on October 22, three days before the elections, during the last campaign program. It does not depict Bolsonaro's reaction to the election results announced on October 25. The senator wore a grey shirt in the video, contrasting with his white shirt during the election night coverage. Thus, the assertion that he cried after the election results is false.
