Foglie sul bronzo, spunta a Palermo un secondo carro di Pompei
A ceremonial chariot from the House of Sallustius in Pompeii has been restored and will be displayed at the Salinas Museum in Palermo. This significant find features intricate geometric and floral decorations on bronze elements and iron wheel rims. The chariot is considered a less complete twin of another ceremonial chariot discovered in 2021. The exhibition coincides with the reopening of the museum's first and second floors after renovations. Regional President Renato Schifani praised the efforts that made this restoration possible, while Pompeii's director Gabriel Zuchtriegel announced plans for further restoration of the House of Sallustius and its garden.
