László Gajdos: We will plant 12 million saplings in the coming years

The Tisza government has launched a significant afforestation and urban greening program with a budget of nearly 60 billion HUF. This initiative includes planting 12 million saplings, creating at least 1320 hectares of new state forests, and greening municipalities with 39.6 billion HUF. Additionally, measures will be taken to prevent forest fires and enhance the naturalness of forests. The government also initiated a social consultation for the establishment of the Working and Humane Hungary Institute, aimed at creating a national participatory infrastructure.
