Gigantic scam involving scooters. The state budget could have lost 162 million PLN

An investigation led by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Lublin targets a criminal group involved in the illegal sale of electric scooters, causing significant tax losses. Over 57,000 scooters were found, valued at nearly 156 million PLN. Authorities arrested 16 individuals, including Polish, Chinese, and Belarusian nationals, and seized assets worth over 5 million PLN. Unusual cash hiding spots were discovered, including a suitcase with over 700,000 PLN and 300,000 euros. Eight suspects are in custody, while the investigation continues to uncover further illegal activities.
