GNR intercepts vessel linked to drug trafficking

The GNR seized a vessel and approximately 2,240 liters of fuel suspected to be intended for drug trafficking support in Alcácer do Sal. The operation followed a tip-off regarding fuel being loaded into jerrycans at a remote location. Three men aged between 32 and 37 were apprehended, while a fourth escaped on the boat. In addition to the vessel and fuel, two engines and other items related to illegal activities were confiscated. The suspects have been charged and the case has been forwarded to the Grândola Court.
