Government creates support for road transport operators

The government has established a temporary support regime for road transport operators, covering up to 70% of extraordinary fuel costs due to the conflict in Iran. This aid applies to both freight and public passenger transport operators licensed by the Institute of Mobility and Transport (IMT) for the period from October 1 to December 31. Beneficiaries must submit a payment request through an IMT form, detailing the applicant, vehicle, and fuel consumption. They are required to retain relevant documents for ten years for potential verification by the IMT. The decree-law, signed by the finance, economy, and infrastructure ministers, takes effect on Friday.
