Housing, immigration and prejudice at the Municipal Theatre of Matosinhos

The play "Esquecimento Global" is a musical adaptation inspired by Brecht's "The Threepenny Opera" and Chico Buarque's "Opera do Malandro." Directed by José Nunes, it explores themes such as housing, immigration, populism, and prejudice through the interactions of a father, his son, and a Brazilian girl. The performance reveals the values and contradictions of the characters. After its run in Matosinhos until November 8, the play will also be presented in Covilhã and Guimarães.
