Housing. PS with an "open spirit" brings five priority proposals for meeting with the Prime Minister

The PS party is approaching negotiations with the Prime Minister regarding housing with an open mindset, proposing five key measures. They advocate for the elimination of the 2,300 euros moderate rent concept in favor of affordable rent. The proposals include abandoning unlimited deposits and rents, ensuring public guarantees for market balance, and a moratorium on the expiration of rental contracts until the end of 2027. Additionally, they suggest transferring IHRU property to municipalities for housing renovation and exempting capital gains on second homes sold for primary residence under 300,000 euros in urban pressure areas. The Prime Minister will meet with PS and Chega leaders to discuss these proposals.
