Székesfehérvár Municipality has announced a new tender for the sale of the business share of Videoton FC Fehérvár's operating company. Interested parties can submit their bids by November 27, 2026. The city purchased the team’s economic company in the summer of 2025, initially planning to finance it for one season and find a new owner within a year. However, a British-Italian candidate failed to secure the necessary bank guarantee, leading to the second tender being declared unsuccessful. Earlier, a U.S.-registered buyer, Final Third LLC, had shown interest with a bid of 775 million HUF, but negotiations did not conclude successfully, resulting in their withdrawal.
