Hungarian Health Minister Zsolt Hegedűs clarified that the classification of healthcare workers' salaries remains unchanged, with the introduction of a new pay scale. The previous categories A, B, and C will be split into A+B and C, resulting in six pay grades instead of five. The new salary table considers qualifications and experience, with nearly 192 billion HUF allocated for salary adjustments. Average base salaries for healthcare workers will increase by 15%, potentially raising net income by 17% due to tax reductions. The new pay scale includes six salary classes and 15 levels based on practical experience.
