Entire municipality of Hechtel-Eksel is without water due to leak

The entire municipality of Hechtel-Eksel is currently without water due to a leak in the main supply line from Wijchmaal. The Watergroep is working to resolve the issue and has opened an emergency line while repairs are underway, expected to last until midnight. Residents are advised to conserve water during this time. Additionally, part of Wijchmaal is also affected, as announced by Peer’s mayor, Steven Matheï.
