Seven creators received the recognition of national artist

Seven artists were honored as national artists at a ceremony in Pesti Vigadó. The recipients include poets, musicians, and visual artists. Fischer Iván, unable to attend, donated his pension for music education for autistic children. The award, established in 2013, recognizes outstanding contributions to Hungarian arts and provides a monthly pension. A maximum of 70 artists can hold the title at any time, with awards presented annually on November 5.
