Severe fire in Tessenderlo-Ham damages 2 houses, parquet confirms cannabis plantation

A fire broke out this morning in a building with two homes on Bergstraat in Tessenderlo-Ham, causing significant damage. The Limburg prosecutor confirmed the presence of a cannabis plantation in one of the homes. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but both residences are currently uninhabitable due to the fire damage. Firefighters arrived to find flames already emerging from the building, and one resident managed to escape in time. The extent of the cannabis plantation remains unknown, and no arrests have been made yet.
