General strike and train drivers' strike: this is how the minimum services will be during a week of stoppages
Next week will see significant disruptions in transportation due to a general strike and additional strikes by train drivers. The main strike is scheduled for November 11, called by various labor unions in response to rising living costs and safety concerns. On November 10 and 12, the Spanish Train Drivers Union (Semaf) will also hold strikes over unresolved safety commitments. The strikes will impact high-speed, regional, and freight services. The government has set minimum service levels, with 75% for peak Rodalies services and 25% for public transport during peak hours on the general strike day. If demands are unmet, further strikes may occur on November 17.
