ING opens its doors on Saba and Sint Eustatius at the end of this month

Residents of Saba and Sint-Eustatius will be able to bank with ING starting November 24, marking the return of Dutch banking services to these Caribbean islands. This follows ING's plans to re-establish operations in the region after a hiatus since 2009. The new branches will allow locals to open accounts and access banking services, which had previously required dealing with foreign banks. ING has complied with all regulations to resume services, offering basic banking facilities and cash access through ATMs. The bank aims to support the economic development of the islands, which have populations of approximately 3,200 and 2,000 respectively.
