There is an arrest for MP Wojciech Król

The Katowice District Court reviewed the prosecutor's appeal against a lower court's decision not to impose the strictest preventive measure on MP Wojciech Król. During the hearing, Król was arrested and will spend 88 days in custody. He faces four charges, two of which were presented earlier this summer after the Sejm lifted his immunity. The Regional Court initially denied the prosecutor's request for detention, citing sufficient alternative measures. However, the European Prosecutor's Office appealed, leading to the current ruling. Allegations against Król include accepting benefits such as a trip to Thailand and a car for foreign travel, which he denies. Król has been an MP since 2015 and was recently expelled from the Civic Coalition club.
