It is a home for sculptures. The historic orangery will undergo renovation
The renovation of the greenhouse will transform it into a full-fledged gallery, enhancing the curatorial and exhibition capabilities of the Museum of Contemporary Sculpture. The project, approved by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, is part of the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, and Environment 2021-2027 program and is expected to be completed by 2027. Originally built in the 19th century, the greenhouse was designed to replace a smaller winter garden and has undergone various changes over the years. It was reconstructed in the late 1980s based on archival designs and now features glass walls supported by an aluminum structure, providing ideal conditions for showcasing small sculptures with natural light.
