Boy (17) falls ill after being offered 'magic potion' with drugs in Heist-op-den-Berg: suspect arrested

A man from Heist-op-den-Berg was arrested after offering a 17-year-old boy a drink laced with drugs, causing the boy to feel unwell. The incident occurred in Dianepark, leading the boy to report it to the police. During a subsequent search, officers found the suspect making GHB in his kitchen and seized 650 milliliters of GHB production materials along with 12 milliliters of ready-to-use GHB. The police emphasized the seriousness of offering drugs to minors and urged vigilance among parents and youth regarding suspicious offers.
