Police in Radom, supported by prosecutors, dismantled a group involved in fraudulent insurance claims. Over several months, they investigated criminal activities spanning the Greater Poland and Świętokrzyskie regions. On October 20 and 27, 11 individuals aged 24 to 48 were arrested, including three women. Authorities seized luxury vehicles worth around 1 million PLN, cash totaling 432,000 PLN, jewelry, and documentation related to vehicle identification number alterations. The group staged fake traffic accidents to claim insurance payouts, involving various roles from organizers to drivers. An investigation by the Radom District Prosecutor's Office covers the years 2018-2026. One suspect was temporarily detained for three months, while others face bail and restrictions. Participation in this organized crime can lead to up to 10 years in prison.
