The new CEO of HUN-REN has been appointed

Áron Bereczky has been appointed as the new CEO of HUN-REN, succeeding Roland Jakab, who left on October 21. In his welcome address, Bereczky emphasized the importance of maintaining professional credibility and international recognition despite recent organizational changes. He aims to strengthen collaboration among research institutions and improve communication between the central organization and research sites. Bereczky previously served as the head of the Research Excellence Department at NKFIH and has extensive teaching experience. His appointment follows a leadership change initiated by the Ministry of Science and Technology due to communication issues within the network.
