Who will join the government after the Tusk-Hołownia talks? RMF FM findings

Last week, Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia following the resignation of the former Minister of Funds, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. Consequently, Poland 2050 lost the ministerial position, which Tusk assigned to Anna Bartol, the permanent representative of Poland to the EU starting in 2024. Bartol will join the Council of Ministers after being sworn in by President Karol Nawrocki. The discussion between Tusk and Hołownia focused on the position of Poland 2050 and new deputy minister roles for its politicians. According to RMF FM, new deputy ministers from Poland 2050 will include MPs Łukasz Osmalak in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Bartosz Romowicz in the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, with official nominations expected in mid-November. Poland 2050 is also preparing for elections to choose a new leader, likely to be MP Paweł Śliz, with elections anticipated in early December.
