Muskets balls, a passage to the ghetto, fragments of a chapel. Relics from several eras were discovered at the construction site.
Archaeologists have uncovered significant historical artifacts at the construction site for the Mazovian Voivodeship Assembly and the Court of Appeal on Świętojerska Street. Findings include musket balls from the Kościuszko Uprising, remnants of buildings, and everyday items from various periods. Notably, a passage to the ghetto and stucco fragments from a 18th-century chapel were discovered. The excavation highlights the area's rich history, transitioning from gardens and stables in the 18th century to dense urban development in the 19th century. The construction project is set to continue, with completion expected by late 2029.
