Ireland targeted by bomb alerts a week before the holding of two European summits in Dublin

New bomb threats have shaken several European countries, particularly targeting Irish and Bulgarian media, as well as commercial flights. These threats were later found to be unfounded. On Friday morning, Irish public radio RTE presenters evacuated after receiving a bomb alert via email. The emails, signed by 'Mikhail Andropov', also threatened other Irish media and claimed to be just the beginning of a series of false alerts. Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin urged calm, noting the ease with which such unconventional operations can cause disruption and anxiety. Authorities have not confirmed the origin of these threats.
