'Leeswee' and 'ontbreekwoord' included in the 'Dikke' Van Dale: "We've been looking forward to this for so long"

The words 'leeswee' and 'ontbreekwoord' have been added to the 'Dikke' Van Dale dictionary, as announced by Ruud Hendrickx on Radio 1. 'Leeswee', which describes the melancholy felt after finishing a good book, was created by listeners three years ago. The inclusion of 'ontbreekwoord', referring to words that should exist but don't, was also confirmed. Hendrickx noted that both words have been used frequently enough to warrant their addition. The search for new Dutch words continues, with a call for suggestions for a term equivalent to 'roadkill'.
