Have you transferred the pictures and videos from your mobile to your computer? From now on, you won't need a cable for that.
Google is introducing a new feature for Android that allows automatic backup of photos and videos to a computer without manual intervention. This functionality will be included in the Google Play Services version 26.43 and will utilize Quick Share for file transfers. Previously, users had to manually manage their backups, which could be cumbersome, especially with limited storage on Google Photos. In contrast, Microsoft has removed direct data transfer options in Windows 11, favoring OneDrive, which offers only 5 GB of free storage. Google's approach aims to streamline the backup process, running in the background, provided users have sufficient storage on their computers.
