Leuven students follow American midterms together in a coffee bar: "These are things that stick with you"

A group of Leuven students gathered at Noir Coffeebar to watch the U.S. midterm elections during a 'watch party'. They emphasized the importance of staying informed about global events, particularly how U.S. politics can impact Europe and Belgium. Students engaged in discussions about the elections and their implications, expressing hopes for Democratic victories. The event included presentations and debates organized by the CDS student association, aiming to foster political engagement among students. Despite concerns about the outcomes, attendees maintained a positive outlook and planned to celebrate or commiserate based on the election results.
