The names of 160 individuals monitored along with Lezsák have also been made public

An IT error led to the public disclosure of approximately 160 names, including former MP Sándor Lezsák, who were not registered as agents but were monitored. The head of the Historical Archives of State Security Services, Gergő Bendegúz Cseh, apologized to Lezsák and stated that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the error and to identify any similar cases. The data was released due to a processing issue with magnetic tapes, which incorrectly categorized non-network individuals as network persons. The archives received the data in a non-segmented format, complicating the processing. Cseh acknowledged the responsibility for the incident and mentioned that they are continuously handling complaints from individuals whose names were mistakenly included in the database. The Fidesz party has called for apologies and accountability from officials involved in the incident.
