Lobby. Parliament promises simple and objective registration

The Portuguese Parliament introduced the Transparency Register Platform for Interest Representation, aimed at simplifying the lobbying process. The session, led by deputies Pedro Delgado Alves and António Rodrigues, attracted significant attendance from former politicians and representatives from various sectors. The platform, resulting from a recently approved lobbying law, will facilitate the registration and updating of entities involved in lobbying activities. It emphasizes data security and ensures that only authorized representatives can register on behalf of organizations. The platform is set to launch on January 1, with a management council to oversee its operations.
