Major Veronika wins bronze and qualifies for the Olympics in air pistol shooting

Major Veronika won a bronze medal and secured a quota for the Los Angeles Olympics in the women's air pistol event at the Doha World Championship. She finished fourth in the preliminary round with a score of 582 and achieved a remarkable 222.1 in the final, placing third behind two Chinese competitors. This victory marks Hungary's first Olympic quota for Los Angeles and the first medal for the Hungarian delegation at the Doha championship, as well as Major's first senior world championship medal in an Olympic event.
