A surprising thing has been revealed about infant peanut allergy
Peanut allergy is a common childhood food allergy that may require long-term dietary changes. A recent study indicates that over one-third of allergic infants may outgrow their allergy within months. Researchers conducted food challenges with 1,275 infants, testing their reactions to increasing doses of peanut protein. About 35% of participants showed no allergic reactions during the challenge. Among those who did react, 61 experienced anaphylactic shock, but no serious harm occurred due to immediate medical assistance.
