The technical error in the agent files database has been resolved
The technical error on the nyitottaktak.hu website, which mistakenly included the name of former MP Sándor Lezsák among network personnel, has been resolved. Gergő Bendegúz, director of the Historical Archives of State Security Services, confirmed that no erroneous names remain in the database. The issue affected 164 cases, and Bendegúz apologized to those involved. The controversy arose after Lezsák's name appeared on the opening day of the database, prompting him to deny being labeled a communist agent and to threaten legal action. The Fidesz and KDNP parties are demanding the complete shutdown of the agent files website, while Lezsák's daughter announced plans for legal steps and called for Bendegúz's resignation, to which he responded shortly after.
