MEN prepares changes regarding individual study paths and curricula
The Polish Ministry of Education has proposed changes to regulations regarding individual learning programs, allowing students to start these programs earlier. Currently, students must wait at least a year before receiving permission for an individual program, except in justified cases. The new proposal would allow schools to grant permission after mid-term assessments, enabling talented students to benefit from tailored education from the start of their schooling. This change aims to better accommodate the educational needs of gifted students, particularly those transitioning to new schools. The new regulations are expected to take effect 14 days after their announcement, while ongoing applications will be processed under existing rules.
