With or without a golf course? Steenokkerzeel is probing the future of Achtergael park in Melsbroek

The municipality of Steenokkerzeel is seeking input from Melsbroek residents regarding the future of Achtergael park, recently acquired for nature and community use. Two scenarios are proposed: Scenario A envisions a fully accessible municipal park, while Scenario B includes a golf area managed by Brabantse Golf, maintaining public access. Residents can also influence park design, choosing features like picnic zones or play areas. Feedback can be provided at a meeting on November 15 or through an online survey until November 22.
