The city is fighting for one and a half million. The contractor of the playground has declared bankruptcy

The playground in Ujazdowski Park faced numerous issues after its delayed opening in 2019, leading to safety concerns and eventual closure. An inspection revealed that poor-quality materials contributed to the problems, while the contractor, Apis Polska, blamed misuse and vandalism for the damages. Despite a warranty until 2024, Apis Polska refused repairs, resulting in a costly renovation that exceeded the original budget. In February 2024, the company declared bankruptcy, and the city is pursuing compensation for the repair costs.
