Morawiecki did not greet Kaczyński. PiS President: They are an elite like I am an NBA basketball player

On Tuesday, President Karol Nawrocki convened the National Security Council to discuss the U.S. military base in Poland and the Constitutional Tribunal conflict. Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, now leader of Rozwój Plus, reportedly did not greet PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński upon entering. Kaczyński acknowledged the lack of greeting, attributing it to emotional issues from Morawiecki's side. He criticized Rozwój Plus for potentially taking voters from PiS, suggesting that the current coalition government is detrimental to Poland. Kaczyński expressed that the split could have given PiS a slight lead in polls against the Civic Coalition. In late July, Morawiecki's group formed a separate parliamentary club after rejecting PiS's ultimatum regarding party membership.
