Hungarian industry production grew significantly in September
In September, Hungary's industrial production increased by 8.2% year-on-year and 0.9% month-on-month, according to the Central Statistical Office. This marks the second consecutive month of over 8% annual growth, following an 8.8% increase in August. Most manufacturing sectors saw production volume rise compared to the same month last year, particularly in vehicle manufacturing, computer and electronic product production, and electrical equipment manufacturing. However, the production of food, beverages, and tobacco products declined. For the first nine months of the year, industrial production was 4.0% higher than in the same period of 2025.
