In a few hours, it lost a sixth of its value at Rheinmetall
Rheinmetall shares dropped nearly 17% after the company revised its 2026 revenue forecast downwards. This marks the second profit warning in recent months, with expected revenue now at €13.2 billion instead of the previously anticipated €13.7-14.2 billion. Delays in the German army's Arminius Boxer program and testing for artillery ammunition are contributing factors. Despite a strong performance this year, with revenue and operating profit significantly up, uncertainties have worsened the outlook. Rheinmetall is also significant for Hungary, manufacturing advanced military vehicles in Zalaegerszeg, including the Lynx, which has been adopted by the Hungarian army. The company has collaborated with the Hungarian 4iG Group since acquiring a stake in 2022.
